Management teaching in PRIM derives its strength from PRC’s 10-year old Department of Management Studies.
PRIM is conscious that the key to management education is to create the skills and the aptitude for management problem solving.
PRIM is a natural offshoot of PRGI’s professional intentions to provide an academic platform to develop the management skills in any graduate with any core specialisation.
PRIM makes the difference with dozens of seminars and workshops by industry experts, several industry visits, structured group discussions, etc. (Refer to the ‘Activities’ section of this profi le).
Formed in 2001, in just the 2nd year (2002-03), PRIM exceeded 100% enrolment.
PRIM to its credit has produced 3 University Ranks in its inceptional batch and 11 University ranks in second batch out of 20 declared by the University. Of the fi rst fi ve University ranks PRIM students secured 4 ranks.
From 2005-06 PRIM will offer PG Diploma programs in career-oriented subjects. PRIM proposes to offer part-time M.B.A. programme; also M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Management.
