AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education)
PRC is the first Arts & Science Self Financing Coeducational College in Tamilnadu, accredited with
‘A’ Grade by NAAC. (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous institution of
the University Grants Commission).
PRC is the first Arts & Science College affi liated to Bharathidasan University, to get AICTE approval for MCA course.
All the UG & PG programmes offered in PREC are approved by AICTE.
PRIM‘s MBA programme is approved by AICTE.

DET (Directorate of Employment & Training, Tamil Nadu)
DC&HM, DFM, DHM, DFPM, DFS and DBC – diplomas offered by PRICH are awarded by DET.
D.T.Ed. programme of PRTTI is awarded by DET.

NCTE (National Council for Teachers Education)
B.Ed. and D.T.Ed. courses are approved by NCTE.

Bharathidasan University
PRC is permanently affi liated to Bharathidasan University – the fi rst self-fi nancing college to get this affi liation in less than 5 years.
B.Sc. H.M. & CS programme offered by PRICH is under Bharathidasan University affi liation.
B.Ed. programme offered by PRCE (Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College of Education) is under affi liation to Bharathidasan University.

Anna University
All the UG & PG programmes offered in PREC are affi liated to Anna University – the largest technological university in the world.

RECOGNITIONS
U.G.C. (University Grants Commission)
PRC is recognized by UGC under section 12(b) and 2(f) of the UGC Act.

GRANTS & AIDS
PRC, due to their diligence in education, has been honoured with grants and aids to the tune of Rs. 75 lakhs (Rs. 7.5 million)
  UGC Development Grant under 10th Plan (approved) - about 16 lakhs
  UGC Vocational Courses Grant (approved) - about 7 lakhs
  Then other grants already disbursed - about 10 lakhs
–UGC Grant for computers
–UGC COSIP Grant for special equipment
  Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs (Govt. of India) - Rs. 3 lakhs for sports goods.
  Ministry of Social Welfare (Govt. of India) - Rs. 39 lakhs for Working Women Hostel.

Under the School of Life Science of PRC several research projects for funding by different government departments (TNSCST, DST, DBT, CSIR, etc.) are in advanced stages of approval.
