Clean and efficient canteens serve the hostel residents with nutritious, cost-effective and quality food. PRICH acts as the advisor to the canteens.

The hostel complex at PRGI is designed to provide comfort and convenience, thus being conducive to right level of motivation for students to pursue their studies and for interaction with fellow students under standard guidelines. The East Campus as well as the West Campus hostels are being expanded. There are separate hostels for UG and PG girls. Basic sports and recreation facilities are made available in all the hostels.

Two full time qualifi ed registered medical practitioners are attached to the two campuses and the hostels. The clinic is well equipped to cater to general healthcare and routine illness. Arrangements are made with leading hospitals in Thanjavur for advanced treatment
if required.

For students to be punctual and to help them have more personal time, PRGI operates a fl eet of high quality buses. For safety, it is compulsory for girl students to use the college bus. PRGI Buses cover all parts of Thanjavur. Also Operates Buses from Thiruvaiyaru, Kumbakonam, Mannargudi and Pattukottai to East & West Campuses. Refer to page 86 of this Profi le for Bus Stages and Fees.

15 students – selected on merit-cum-means basis – are provided free education every year.
Trust recognises MERIT from economically backward group. A Fees Reimbursement Scheme is available for poor PG students with academic prowess and alround ability.

Being responsible to the rural society, PRGI is committed to women enrichment and offers disciplined and well-secured atmosphere for girl students. Girls are encouraged in all courses. In PRC there are exclusive classes for girls. PRGI offers vocational skills programmes for Women Entrepreneurship Development. Presently the girl students constitute 45% of student-strength and women staff constitute about 35% of total staff strength.

For the convenience of the parents, Central Offi ce has been built in the heart of the city with 12,000 sq.ft. built-up area.
