SOCIAL
PRGI supports a variety of social and extra curricular activities for student personality development and to the rural society.

SOCIAL SERVICE ACTIVITIES by the Management

A deep borewell (Rs. 2 lakhs) erected at Surakottai Village.
1000 poor students are given free dress during every Deepavali.
Govt. High School at Melaullur is adopted for development.
School of Life Sciences and School of Computer Science of PRC regularly carryout community development activities.
Blood Grouping Camp; Health Check-up Camp
Blood Donation Camp
Water and Soil analysis
Training on mushroom cultivation, manufacture and usage of Bio-fertilisers
Computer Hardware and Computer Awareness
Adult education classes, etc. are organised for villagers.
Villagers are invited for a workshop on “Food Adulteration, Detection and Prevention”, “Nutrition and Health Awareness” programmes.
Computer Training programme for rural-based students.

CULTURAL
Inter-Collegiate Cultural Show/ Competition is annually held by the Tamil Department of PRC to bring out the inborn talents of the students. It is a great show.
To develop communication skills, the Tamil Department and English Department jointly organise oratorical competition.
