BUS FACILITY
Though Thanjavur city has good town bus service, for students to be punctual and to help them have more personal time, PRGI operates a fleet of high quality buses. For safety, it is compulsory for girl students to use the college bus.

PRGI Buses cover all parts of Thanjavur. For West Campus (PREC, PRIM, PRICH), a bus is run from Trichy. From Mannargudi to East Campus (PRC) a contractor operates the bus service. Bus service to Kumbakonam and Tiruvaiyaru is under consideration. Refer to page 62 of this Profile for Bus Stages and Fees.
 

ACCENT ON WOMEN
Responsible to the rural society, PRGI is committed to women enrichment and offers disciplined and well- secured atmosphere for girl students. Girls are encouraged in all courses. In PRC there are exclusive classes for girls. PRGI offers vocational skills programmes for women entrepreneurship development. Presently the girl students and lady staffs constitute about 35% of respective total strength.
P.R. Women's Community College is planned at Chennai.
P.R. College of Music is also planned at Thanjavur.
 

HEALTH CARE
A full time qualified registered medical practitioner is attached to the two campuses and the hostels. The Clinic is well equipped to cater to general healthcare and routine illness. Arrangements are made with leading hospitals in Thanjavur for any need for advanced treatment.
The doctor is a team member of PRGI's efforts in all the health related social service activities.
 

SCHOLARSHIPS
  15 students - selected on merit-cum-means basis - are educated free every year
  Trust recognises MERIT from economically backward group. A fees reimbursement scheme is available for poor PG students with academic prowess and alround ability.
