The college has completed 5 years of its academic activities and among the fi rst batch of students graduated from PREC, there were four University Rank-holders,
one among them being the gold medalist. In the ensuing academic year we are introducing 3 new courses with additional seats of 180. The college has strengthened
the total infrastructural facilities to near by 3.25 lacs sq. ft. built in area with the state-of-the-art laboratories in all the departments and 16000 volumes of books in the Central Library.

More than 80% results produced in as many as 88 subjects in the Anna University Examinations held during 2004 indicates the involvement of the teachers in the academic work carried out by the College.
The STPI (The Software Technology Park of India), New Delhi, with the built in area of 1 lakh sq. ft. is expected to become functional shortly and the students of PREC would have an opportunity to gain placement, work experience with facility for Earning while Leaning. After obtaining ISO 9001-2000 certifi cation, which is in
conformity with the Quality objective of the management, PREC is getting ready to face the commission for the proposed Deemed University which would be a crucial
landmark in the history of the college.
