Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering The Department of Electronics & Communication engineering came into force since inception of the college. The sanctioned intake of 60 was completely filled in the first year of admission itself and now the second year is running successfully with 5 teaching staff, 2 technical staff and 119 students. Faculty The Department has highly qualified, dedicated, sincere and experienced faculty members with specialization in various fields like Computer systems and Communication systems, ECE and Electronics. As of today the number of students in first year and second year is 115 with 6 teaching staff members and 1 technical staff member. Students of this course are imparted sound knowledge in fundamental areas of Computer Science like Digital System Design, Data Structure, Computer Architecture, VLSI, Operating Systems and computer Networks. Knowledge on design and the development of the software is imparted to students through various subjects. Faculty The department has faculty with credible teaching and training experience with specialization in various fields like Information Technology, Computer communication, Computer Science and Advanced computing. Infrastructure Classrooms Classrooms are provided with lighting facilities and are spacious with good Ventilation and seating arrangements. Classrooms are wired for audio-visual aids. Laboratories The department has well-equipped laboratory with 150 computers with Pentium IV processors, interconnected with LAN of 256 Kbps speed earth station round the clock to students for practical to enhance their knowledge. Operating systems available are MS-DOS SCO-UNIX Windows NT, Windows XP Software's available Latest software’s available include all latest visuals, Oracle to meet the educational, practical and training needs of the student. Department Library The Department has separate library for CSE faculty and students. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started with full swing from the beginning year 2006 and now the department steps successfully in the second year. The department has 4 teaching faculty, 1 technical staff with an electrifying strength of 92 students. The Demand for Mechanical Engineers is at stake. The Mechanical Engineering branch was started with full swing from the year of inception of PRCET, (i.e) 2006. The Department has 5 Teaching Staff, 2 Technical staff and 93 Students. The Department is running its second year successfully. Faculty The Department has highly qualified, dedicated and well experienced faculty members, who are specialized in various fields like Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
