Materials and their behaviour form a basic I Mechanical Engineering branch. Knowledge and Awareness of Environmental Science is mandatory for all branches of Engineering. Environmental Science is a group of Chemistry. Thus, the Department of Chemistry is an important wing. The Chemistry lab is equipped with sophisticated equipments/Instruments, chemicals required for the course of study. The Department of Chemistry has well qualified and experienced Teaching faculty, who work for the students in an effective manner.

Mathematics is the backbone of Engineering. Hence Department of Mathematics plays a vital role. The Department has highly qualified, well experienced teaching faculty, who make the students strong in fundamentals.

Due importance and weightage is given by PRCET on language and communication skills. The teaching staff do their role in not only imparting knowledge to students, but to make them communicate in an effective manner. Special comprehension courses, interactive sessions, vocabulary training, communication classes are conducted to the students to enhance their talents of course with the help of the state-of –the-art language laboratory.

PRCET library is equipped with several titles and sufficient volumes of various branches of Engineering, including the Basic Engineering (I year). The library caters the various needs of faculty and staff by providing good journals and magazines. Total area is ……….
